Manual Handling

Legislation requires employers to avoid manual handling if reasonably practicable and, if it isn’t, to assess the risk and train their employees in safe manual handling techniques. Macbrac Business Safety can offer courses designed to ensure that employees are aware of the hazards associated and ways of reducing the likelihood of injury.

CIEH Principles of Manual Handling

£60 per delegate
Manual handling accidents account for a large number of serious injuries in the workplace or long-term ill-health. This course explains the hazards associated with manual handling and explains how to avoid or minimise them. Successful delegates are issued with a certificate from CIEH as evidence of training.
