Fire Safety Training

It is a legal requirement for people who have responsibility for fire safety in premises to appoint one or more competent people to assist in fire preventive and protective measures. To be competent a person must have sufficient knowledge to undertake the role. Macbrac can provide training to ensure that your staff understand the causes of fire, measures to be taken to reduce the likelihood of fire and actions to take in the event of an outbreak of fire.

Corporate Fire Marshal Training – on site (half-day)

£250 + VAT
The training is aimed at personnel who are existing Fire Marshals or are due to undertake the role. The course outlines the theory and classification of fire, fire hazard spotting, fire extinguisher use and emergency evacuation procedures. Courses are limited to ten delegates.

Fire Risk Assessment Training (1 day)

£65.00 + VAT per person
Suitable for personnel required to undertake Fire Risk Assessments of small businesses to help employers to meet their legal duties. The course covers fire theory, fire spread, raising the alarm, means of escape and the basic techniques of Fire Risk Assessment. Can be delivered on your own premises if required.
